5. Massage Policy for Children & Teenagers (Under 18)
Parental Consent Requirement
All clients under 18 must have written consent from a parent or legal guardian before receiving any massage treatment.
- A consent form must be completed prior to the appointment
- A parent/guardian must be contactable at all times
Parent or Guardian Presence
Clients under 16:
- A parent or guardian must be present in the treatment room for the full duration of the session
Clients aged 16–17:
- A parent or guardian must remain on the premises during the treatment
6. Conditions That May Require GP Approval
Some health conditions require GP approval before massage. Please inform us of any medical issues when booking. We may adjust or decline treatment to ensure your safety. GP approval is recommended before treatment.
- Cardiovascular Conditions
Clients with heart-related conditions should seek medical advice before booking, including:
- High or unstable blood pressure
- Heart disease
- History of stroke or recent cardiac events
- Recent Surgery or Injury include Beauty Surgery
- Pregnancy Medical advice is recommended, especially in early stages or high-risk pregnancies
- Chronic Medical Conditions If you have ongoing health conditions such as: Arthritis, Fibromyalgia, Diabetes, Neurological conditions
A GP can advise on whether massage is suitable and any precautions required.
- Blood Clotting Disorders & Medication If you:
Are taking blood thinners
Have a history of blood clots (DVT)
Have a clotting disorder
Massage may need to be modified or avoided.
- Skin Conditions & Infections Massage should not be performed over: Open wounds , Infections, Rashes or contagious skin conditions
- Cancer or Ongoing Medical Treatment
- Fever, Illness, or Inflammation If you are currently unwell: Fever, flu, or infections, Acute inflammation Massage should be postponed until recovery.
7. Client Responsibility
Clients are required to inform us of any relevant medical conditions, injuries, or treatments before their appointment.
Phatcha Thai Wellness reserves the right to:
Request GP approval where necessary
Decline or modify treatment if deemed inappropriate, Modify or decline treatment to ensure safety
Stop a session at any time if safety or comfort is a concern
8. Gift Voucher Policy
- Gift vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
- Vouchers must be presented at the time of redemption.
- Gift vouchers are valid for 3 months from the date of purchase unless otherwise stated.
- Expired vouchers will not be accepted.
- Vouchers may be used toward services/products of equal or greater value. Any remaining balance must be paid by the recipient.
- Gift vouchers cannot be replaced if lost, stolen, or damaged.
- Appointments are subject to availability, and advance booking is required.
